I left an emotionally abusive marriage 3 years ago. After a 2 year break, I met a lovely lady who has all the attributes of a good wife. We became engaged, then as my circumstances changed and I found more personal security, I found her requirement for my attention, too much. You could say I was selfish, and I accept that.
I feel happy without a spouse for around 90% of the time. I don't think I should marry just for 10% of my life/time/energy/desire. But what are my alternatives? I'm 55.

My wife and I were having some trouble with money stuff for the first couple years of our marriage. It ended up in a few fights to say the least. I wish we would have saught out good resources like this sooner. What eventually happened is that we attended a workshop called "$pend your life with me" sponsered by thinkmarriage.org and they taught us alot of great skills in managing your relationship fiscally and how to, as I like to say, 'Make love, not debt." I would highly reccomend that anyone who ishaving these problems check out the www.thinkmarriage.org website and see if there is a workshop for them. Great advice Laurie! Oscar R.

Winning your programme "Being Happy Together" would be an absolute blessing for me.
I'm not in a relationship at the moment but hope to be at some point.
I've had a hard life and many challenges in the area of relationships but I'm finally in a good relationship with myself and the Universe
I have finally discovered my purpose in life which is to help people "Live and Die with no regrets" – a path I have been on myself since hearing Elixabeth Kubler-Ross speak in 1986.
Finally I can say "I know where I am going and who wants to come with me?"- and wait for the Universe to answer .
So this course would give me the tools to make sure I get this new relationship off to the right start and develop it into a wondeful celebration of who we both are and what we can be together.
Thank you both for your wonderful work- I have gained so much already form your expertise

After being together for about 6 years now, my wife and I realize we're starting to grow apart and we don't know how to grow together and nurture our relationship, as well as nurturing each other while nurturing our own independent selves. (I hope that makes sense…it is crystal clear in my head, but I'm not sure I've conveyed it well).
